Grok Institute is now Courvoisier Future500!

Well it happened a little while back, but yes we are part of Courvoisier Future500! The initiative set up to identify 'the brightest and best rising stars across ten fields in the UK' has deemed Grok Institute to be one of the finest creative collectives and curators in the realm of the arts in 2009.

It's always nice to be appreciated for doing something you love.

Grok Institute & 'Wish You Were Here' L.E.S./LDN SWAP LAUNCH PARTY PHOTOS

As you may know, Grok Institute were asked to curate the music for WYWH and the launch party was a blast. Thanks for everyone who made it an amazing night.

P.s. Dante and Das Volt were amazing. Our very own J. Saintil wasn't too bad either.

Grok Institute Curate Music for 'Wish You Were Here' L.E.S./LDN SWAP

WYWH

We're happy to announce that Grok Institute will be curating the London segment of 'Wish You Were Here Swap' in conjunction with Beyond The Valley Insight.

Running from October 1st til October 31st in the Newburgh Quarter, the exchange sees L.E.S artists across all mediums descend onto Newburgh Quarter for the duration. We at Grok were asked to put together a line-up for the four events and we feel we've done a pretty good job.

"NY, like London, is a transient city. A place where New Yorkers move but remain quintessentially NY, and those from outside travel through and remain indelibly stamped by the city. This especially happens with music, so we curated artists and DJs who are from the city, have made their name there, have been touched by it or take part or their sound from it

It’s a celebration. From future hip hop, hipster bounce and bassline business to disco and electronic fuzz. We’re especially excited to have so many UK exclusives for the events. We hope everyone enjoys the music as much as we enjoyed putting it together.”  - Grok Institute
